Aina Koda releases “Billar”

Following the release of “He tornat”, Aina Koda returns with “Billar”, the second single from their upcoming EP, “La gata”, out October 8. This time, the Valencian duo explores a more electronic and dance-driven sound, turning a game of pool into a playful story of seduction and connection.

Aina Koda is a rap project from the Valencian Country formed by Aina Nogueroles (vocals and lyrics) and Adam González (producer and DJ). While rooted in rap, their sound constantly moves across genres, combining socially conscious lyrics, everyday situations and their distinctive sense of humour.

The project has established itself within the emerging Valencian-language music scene, earning recognition including TresDeu’s Best Music Release Award, the Ovidi Award for Breakthrough Artist, and a place among the winning acts of Sona9. In 2023, they released “Percal”, their debut album with Guspira Records, where they were already experimenting with sounds ranging from trap and afrotrap to house.

While “He tornat”, the first single from “La gata”, blended trap with jungle influences to explore the return of the desire to write and create freely, “Billar” reveals another side of Aina Koda’s upcoming release. The duo moves into techno house, with a dancefloor-oriented production and a playful, late-night storyline.

The song revolves around a game of pool that becomes a flirtatious exchange between two people who decide to leave their friends behind and spend the night together. Through music, glances and shared tastes, the lyrics capture the moment when a growing sense of connection makes everything else fade into the background.

With “Billar”, Aina Koda continues to expand the sonic palette of La gata, reinforcing one of the ideas at the heart of the project: using rap as a starting point without allowing it to become a limitation.

“La gata” will be released on October 8, 2026, via Guspira Records.
