After releasing “Salsa Boloñesa (Live)”, Lágrimas de Sangre present “De Trankis (Live)”, the second single from “En el borde del mundo”, the live album capturing recordings from the farewell tour that marked the end of the band’s journey. Recorded at their Barcelona concert, this new version revisits one of the group’s most popular tracks and features collaborations with Rapsusklei, Sharif, Mxrgxn and Vito.
Originally released in 2018, “De Trankis” became one of Lágrimas de Sangre’s best-known songs. The track brings the group together with Rapsusklei and Sharif, two prominent names in the Spanish rap scene, both from Zaragoza, alongside Morgan and Vito, who are also closely connected to the city’s hip-hop scene. Built around a funky beat produced by Acid Lemon and Rama Lama, the song brings together the verses of seven MCs in a celebration of friendship, music and the pleasure of enjoying the moment without rushing.
To bring this repertoire to the stage, Lágrimas de Sangre expanded their usual line-up with a live band, adding new nuances and greater sonic depth to their songs. This line-up also features on “De Trankis (Live)”, bringing the original’s festive energy to the stage and capturing the chemistry that makes the track so distinctive.
The recording comes from the Barcelona concert, one of four shows on the farewell tour recorded in full in both audio and video. “De Trankis (Live)” is the second track to be released from this material, following “Salsa Boloñesa (Live)” on the way to “En el borde del mundo”.
With this project, Lágrimas de Sangre revisit some of the songs that have defined their career, preserving a record of their final live performances. “De Trankis (Live)” offers the chance to hear one of the most iconic tracks in their catalogue in a live setting, featuring the line-up that accompanied the band during its final chapter on stage.
