El Pony Menut “L’escola de Tothom”

The Federated Associations of Families of Students of Catalonia (aFFaC) and El Pony Menut (the family-friendly version of El Pony Pisador), in collaboration with Guspira Records, have joined forces to give a voice to public education with “L’Escola de Tothom”, a song that highlights its importance and aims to raise funds for the campaign “La Pública, l’Escola de Tothom”. In a critical social context, this initiative seeks to mobilize society and strengthen families’ commitment to the public education model as the only way to counteract the fundamental inequalities that affect many of our children and teenagers, advocating for a more inclusive, democratic, and just society.

In response to the alarming rise in child poverty and the growth of the far-right, aFFaC is calling on the entire educational community and society at large to defend public education—not only as an essential pillar in the fight against student inequality but also as a means to uphold democracy. Through the “La Pública, l’Escola de Tothom” campaign, the organization is launching a collective crowdfunding initiative to mobilize citizens in active defense of the fundamental right to education and to promote a more inclusive, democratic, and just society.

As a central part of the initiative, El Pony Menut has created an original song that will become the campaign’s anthem, aiming to reach families and the educational community with a positive, powerful message that fosters a sense of belonging to the public education system.

The “La Pública, l’Escola de Tothom” campaign will culminate on Saturday, March 29, with the “Festa per la Pública”, which will take place at Parc de l’Estació del Nord in Barcelona. Children, teenagers, and the entire educational community will come together to celebrate the campaign’s achievements, highlight the importance of public education, and share their pride in being part of this system. The event will be full of surprises and will feature the participation of various organizations, as well as the live premiere of the public education anthem.
