Emé releases her new single “La Deuxième”

Rap in Catalonia has a name to watch: Emé. Behind this pseudonym is Miranda Agustí Sanchez, a young woman from Salt (Girona) who, despite having no role models in the genre, found her best form of expression in hip-hop. She began her journey at 19 years old and has been growing ever since.

One of the key moments in her career was a stay in Seville, where she strengthened her connection with music and further defined her style. With limited resources but unshakable determination, she has managed to self-produce tracks like “Miavita” and “Orgullo”, shaping a musical approach that fuses classic boom bap with melodic harmonies and lyrics that reflect real, lived experiences.

After the success of “Castillo de Arena”, which went viral on social media and was shared by actor Jaime Lorente (La Casa de Papel) and influencer Martina Lucena, and following “Marfil”, her latest single, Emé now presents “La Deuxième”. This new track, more laid-back than the previous ones, invites reflection on how we interpret reality in everyday acts and how we face them. Through her music, the rapper from Girona shares her personal view on the situations life throws at her, showing how to confront them and come out stronger.
