Las Karamba releases “COCTELEO” with Elena Salguero, the first preview of their upcoming album

 

Las Karamba is a musical group consisting of 6 women from Venezuela, Cuba, Argentina, and Catalonia. Known for their energy and messages of female empowerment, they venture into new genres with the release of their single, “Cocteleo”, In collaboration with Madrid-based singer Elena Salguero, which premieres today. The song, blending urban rhythms with sounds from traditional Cuban music, marks the group’s debut in the Latin urban genre, exploring the current musical movement known as ‘Reparto.

“Cocteleo” It is a hymn to free sexuality and female empowerment. Las Karamba and Elena Salguero aim to bring visibility to one of the many ways of experiencing sexuality, one that understands people and not genders, challenging the still-present taboos in society that restrict and censor free love.

Manuel Masaedo, the producer of the single, was the one who seamlessly integrated the two artistic proposals for this collaboration, highlighting the strength and sensuality of women. Elena brings an authenticity that, as described by Las Karamba, ‘is perfect for the collaboration because she is a strong woman with her own radiant light who sings from the depths.

“Cocteleo” gives us a small preview of “Te lo digo cantando”, the new musical project by Las Karamba, which will be released next 5 de abril  and promises to generate an irresistible urge to dance.
