LAS KARAMBA RELEASE “NO TODO ES LO QUE PARECE”

Las Karamba define themselves as an inclusive movement led by six female voices from different parts of Latin America. “No todo es lo que parece” is the latest preview of their upcoming album, which encapsulates the essence of the album and is available on all digital platforms.

Their music is a stream of feminine energy expressed through art as the primary means of communication. In this artistic and personal moment where all members converge, they pause to observe the everyday, interpreting the simple, sweet, and bitter emotions and situations of life.

This preview, titled “No todo es lo que parece” (Not everything is what it seems), is a profound reflection on life and everyday experiences. The song invites us to dance in the cave of emotions, to sing our sorrows, and to find the strength to overcome the obstacles that arise along the way. Through its lyrics, Las Karamba remind us that behind every achievement there are multiple attempts, efforts, and difficult moments.

The song reflects the existential moment of the band during the composition and production process of their new album. Arising from the need to find strength to keep fighting for their dreams, “No todo es lo que parece” is a powerful statement of resilience in the face of adversity.

Musically, it features innovative parts of changüí, a Cuban musical genre considered by some authors as the precursor of son. A style that Las Karamba had never explored before. This fusion of rhythms and traditional Cuban sounds adds a new dimension to the group’s music, further enriching their artistic proposal.

“No todo es lo que parece” is a showcase of the talent and creativity of Las Karamba. It’s a preview of the release of their second studio album, “Te lo digo cantando” (Guspira Records 2024), which will be available on April 19th on all digital platforms as well as in physical format.
