Microbio presents “Limpiando”, the latest preview of his new album

 

Microbio releases “Limpiando,” the fourth and final preview of his upcoming album called HUMO SAPIENS, scheduled for release on December 14th.

“LIMPIANDO” is a song that represents the idea of raw, tough, and dry rap under enveloping rhythms and rhymes that Microbio uses to review the current landscape from an analytical and critical perspective. It focuses on issues and controversies present in the world of current music, criticizing topics such as beauty standards, falsehood, selfishness, and the lack of social and human ideals.

“This is a reflective song that I wrote coming out of the pandemic in 2021, after overcoming a conflict with a roommate who turned out to be a scammer, causing me a significant financial loss and forcing me into a hasty move. This experience partly motivated my learning about coercive manipulation techniques, which I discuss in HUMO SAPIENS. In this song, I also take stock of my overall life experience and my perspective on the hip-hop and urban music scene. It marks a turning point for me, connecting this concept of cleansing with that of the third single, HE DECIDIDO. However, unlike the latter, formally, this is a three-verse song with a catchy chorus over a Sample Corp. boombap beat, and I believe it’s the most rap-oriented track on the album.”

Microbio already has two solo albums: “Oficio y Terapia” (Guspira Records 2020) and “Me he pillado una gorra” (Guspira Records 2021), but he still has many things to say. That’s why in 2023, he has been breaking down his next album into several singles. The new album, HUMO SAPIENS, was conceived with producers Danee Doble E and Hasha from Sample Corp and is characterized by a powerful rap style, where Microbio carefully cooks impactful verses over a slow fire.
